Peg-cut desks
This category includes all decks with a so-called peg-cut shape, meaning the end of the deck has an angled, cut-off shape. This is the primary criterion used to classify decks into either the street deck or park deck subcategory.
However, the world is complicated, and not all peg-cut decks are automatically park decks. For example, a rider who is 170 cm tall may primarily use a 570 mm peg-cut deck for riding in a skatepark, but can also use the same deck for riding outside the skatepark, known as street riding. Many decks clearly belong to either the Park deck or Street deck category, while this is less clear for others. Therefore, we prefer to follow clear criteria referring to the shape of the deck, namely Box-end and Peg-cut. The Street and Park descriptors are then mainly supplementary.
When choosing a deck, please pay attention to the wheel width. Wheels are manufactured in various widths, so make sure in advance that the selected wheel width will be compatible with your deck.
